The State of Qatar, represented by Her Excellency Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Minister of Social Development and Family, participated in the High-Level Ministerial Meeting on Women, Peace, and Security (WPS). The meeting at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on the sidelines of the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly discussed women's roles in promoting international peace and the challenges related to their empowerment.
