Represented by the Department of Family Affairs, the Ministry of Social Development and Family participated in the "Spices Preparation" workshop held at the Al-Majd Girls' Centre in North City. This workshop aimed to support spices of national products, which are the key elements that distinguish Qatari food from others. It also touched on how to prepare different types of spices and learn about them separately.

During its participation in the National Productive Projects Exhibition “From the Homeland”, the Ministry of Social Development and Family concluded the activities of the 2023 Tarsheed Carnival in its sixth edition in the “Kahramaa” Awareness Park, which lasted for five days. “Tarsheed” is a national program aimed at introducing energy consumption, as the carnival included workshops and events to introduce sustainability developments to the public and visitors. It is also part of the global vision to develop sustainability efforts, in line with the objectives of the Qatar National Vision 2030. The Ministry’s participation stems from its support for the initiatives of Sustainability, which is one of the most important foundations of social responsibility.

On the eve of World Cancer Day, the Ministry of Social Development and Family, represented by the Department of Family Affairs, celebrated this day under the slogan "Health and Family" in cooperation with Qatar University, the National Center for Cancer Care and Research, and the Qatar Cancer Society. This workshop was held at Qatar University on the thirteenth of February 2023.
