"Social Development" supports the mental and behavioral health of individuals
The Ministry of Social Development and Family, represented by the Community Development Department, in cooperation with the Community Police, the Friends of Mental Health Association “Weyak” and the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, organized the “We Help and Cooperate” Forum, which is a dialogue session targeting social workers and social service providers in the State of Qatar, at the Wifaq Center.
The participants presented a summary of their ideas and experiences in the field of supporting the mental and behavioral health of individuals. The discussion topics during the forum were enriched by a number of experts and specialists in this field, as Dr. Louay Assaf from the Ministry of Social Development and Family, Captain Aisha Ali Al Kuwari from the Community Police, Mrs. Raja Salim from the Mental Health and Weyak Association, and Mrs. Fatima Al Nuaimi from the Qatar Foundation for Social Work spoke.
