
“Social Development” Minister discusses women empowerment with Moroccan Counterpart
Rabat 9 May, the Ministry of Social Development and Family represented by HE Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, who is currently visiting Rabat, met with Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration and the Family of the Kingdom of Morocco. As part of the meeting, they discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation and existing projects between the two countries through the conclusion of the activities held for the first time by the Minister of Morocco and under the slogan of the appreciation of female teachers' skills and economic empowerment.
In addition, Her Excellency Minister of Social Development explained, in a round table meeting, how to cooperate with participating countries such as Morocco, Hungary, Indonesia, Vietnam, and others to empower women economically with their home projects while participants discussed how to continue supporting the global participation of productive families by providing all the means to enable production at the global level. Her Excellency toured many Moroccan cities such as Rabat, Tangier, Fez, and Meknes.
The state of Qatar has shown an interest in strengthening Arab cooperation since it chaired the 42nd Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs Session, at which the Ministry of Social Development and Family was able to promote joint action and unification on important Arab and social issues encouraging them to take part in international forums.
