Saudi Authority of People with Disabilities Honors MSDF

 The Saudi Authority of People with Disabilities (APD) honored the Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF) in recognition of its active participation in the 'Purple Saturday' initiative, which aims to raise community awareness and support the empowerment and inclusion of persons with disabilities across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

In a statement, the MSDF noted that the honor is an extension of the efforts to promote the principle of community integration and highlight the values ​​of human solidarity, further reinforcing Qatar's position as a key supporter of issues related to persons with disabilities at the local and regional levels.

Director of the Social Welfare Department at MSDF, Reem Al Ajmi, received an honorary shield on behalf of the Ministry. This comes within the framework of joint Gulf cooperation aimed at highlighting the humanitarian and social role of the GCC countries in supporting the rights of people with disabilities.
