Qatar’s Ministry of Social Development and Family Participates in 4th International Forum “Women in the Third Millennium” in Moscow

The Ministry of Social Development and Family took part in the 4th International Forum “Women in the Third Millennium” held in Moscow, with the delegation headed by H.E. Sheikha Sheikha bint Jassim Al Thani, Assistant Undersecretary for Family Affairs.

During the forum, H.E. Sheikha Sheikha bint Jassim Al Thani contributed to two key sessions: “The Women’s Movement in a New Geopolitical Reality: Building a Sustainable Future” and “Diplomacy of Opportunities: Women’s Communities as a Driver of International Cooperation.”

On the sidelines of the event, the Assistant Undersecretary for Family Affairs met with Ms. Alfiya Amirova, President of the International Women’s Union. The meeting explored opportunities to strengthen collaboration between the two countries in the fields of women and child development, as well as avenues for exchanging expertise.

The Ministry was also represented by the Family Empowerment Department, which showcased products created by Qatari productive families at the “Made by Women” exhibition. The display featured handmade crafts and souvenirs, aiming to highlight Qatari women’s craftsmanship and promote their products in international platforms and exhibitions.
