Qatar Takes Part in Second Gulf Housing Conference in Kuwait
The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Social Development and Family, participated in the Second Gulf Housing Conference, titled "Sustainable Housing," hosted by Kuwait from September 3-4, 2025. The event was held under the patronage and in the presence of the Kuwaiti Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, with the participation of senior housing officials from across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
Mr. Fahad Mohammed Al Khayarin, Assistant Undersecretary for Social Development Affairs at the Ministry, represented Qatar at the conference. He attended a series of panel discussions that addressed key issues: sustainable housing, urban planning, and real estate investment opportunities. The sessions also highlighted prominent experiences and initiatives from Gulf countries in this vital sector.
The conference aims to foster greater Gulf cooperation in the housing sector and facilitate the exchange of expertise among member states. This collaborative effort is designed to support sustainable development strategies and enhance the well-being of Gulf families.
In conjunction with the conference, an accompanying exhibition was held from September 3 to 6, 2025. The exhibition showcased major projects and initiatives related to sustainable housing across the GCC member states.
