Qatar Participates in 11th Meeting of GCC Ministers of Social Affairs and Development
The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF), is actively participating in the 11th meeting of the Committee of GCC Ministers of Social Affairs and Development. The meeting, which brings together top officials from across the Gulf, was held today in Kuwait.
Her Excellency Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Minister of Social Development and Family, is leading the Qatari delegation at the event.
The ministers are tackling crucial topics aimed at boosting social development, charitable initiatives, and volunteerism across the GCC. The agenda includes the action plans for the Committee of Ministers of Social Affairs and Development, as well as joint plans for charitable and humanitarian work.
Additionally, the discussions have covered a new project to design a regional index that will measure the quality of life for senior citizens. The meeting also explored ways to strengthen collaboration with international organizations dedicated to social affairs.
