Qatar Exchanges Expertise with Saudi Arabia to Enhance Social Security
To solidify bilateral cooperation in the fields of social development, an official delegation from the Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF) of the State of Qatar conducted a working visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to activate the joint Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries.
The Qatari delegation was headed by Mr. Fahad Mohammed Al Khayarin, Assistant Undersecretary for Social Development Affairs.
The visit aimed to closely examine the pioneering experiences and best Saudi practices in the field of housing. The State of Qatar seeks to benefit from the successful models implemented by the Kingdom to develop its national mechanisms and programs in both the housing and social development sectors.
During the visit, the delegation met with several Saudi officials and specialized bodies, where a detailed review of housing-related programs and projects took place. Discussions focused on exploring ways to adapt and apply this expertise to suit the context and needs of the State of Qatar.
This step underscores the deep fraternal relations between the two sisterly countries and their shared commitment to elevating the level of services provided to citizens and promoting sustainable social development efforts.
