The Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF), represented by its Internal Audit Department, organized an awareness workshop to mark Global Internal Audit Awareness Month. This initiative aligns with the MSDF's ongoing efforts to foster a robust internal audit culture and enhance awareness of its crucial role in supporting governance and achieving institutional transparency.
Ms. Fatima Mohammed Khalifa Al-Suwaidi, Director of the Internal Audit Department, emphasized the vital role of auditing in safeguarding resources and improving institutional performance efficiency. She noted that the workshop reflects the MSDF's commitment to implementing the highest standards of quality and oversight.
The workshop was attended by several MSDF officials, representatives from affiliated entities, and a group of employees and individuals interested in auditing. It covered key themes, including the duties and roles of internal audit, effective risk management practices, and the importance of promoting a culture of compliance and accountability.
