MSDF opens nominations for GCC Housing Award 2024-2025

The Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF) announced opening nominations for the 6th edition of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Housing Award 2024-2025, held under the theme of digital/smart applications and technologies in housing projects and programs.

The Ministry stated that this year's award topics include four main axes: the project's economic impact due to the use of applications or technologies, the project's time impact and workflow improvement due to the use of applications or technologies, the innovative and unique applications or technologies providing technical and practical solutions, and user-friendly applications or technologies.

Applicants are required to cover at least two of these axes, with the deadline being February 1, 2025.

Regarding the awards, Director of the Housing Department at MSDF Nasser bin Muhanna Al Mannai said that the top three winners will receive cash prizes: the first-place winner will receive QR200,000, the second-place winner will receive QR100,000, and the third-place winner will receive QR75,000.

The Ministry will review nominations to ensure compliance with the Award's conditions before submitting them to the GCC Secretariat-General.

The MSDF invited those interested to fill out the nomination form and submit it to the international cooperation department before the deadline, via the Ministry's website.
