MSDF holds workshop ‘Publications without Profit’ for owners of national productive projects
The Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF), represented by the Family Empowerment Department, has organised a training workshop entitled ‘Publications without Profit’ in cooperation with Colorant Printing Press.
The workshop targeted owners of national production projects for introducing product packaging without financial gains, and obtaining consultative design sessions to enhance the importance of visual identity for marketing their products.
The training workshop was presented by the entrepreneur and founder of the Colorant Printing and Design Platform, Sarah Saud Al Mahmoud.
She explained that through this workshop, owners of productive projects (Al Watan) will be able to learn about the importance of choosing the visual identity of the project by determining the logo, choosing specific colors, and paying attention to the details of the product packaging especially in the field of entrepreneurship and the competition that small business owners may face with other projects.
Al Mahmoud said that it has become necessary to pay attention to these details to present the product in the best possible way.
She added: “We have provided a number of packages that are compatible with the activities offered by owners of national production projects, such as clothing, textiles, food industries, gifts, and others.
“After studying their needs and requests for printed materials, the packages will be determined based on them. This workshop also includes a service to provide free consultations to owners of ideas and projects to enter the market with the least possible risks and the greatest expected profits.”
Colorant offers all services through a unique application that combines printing and design services in one platform, which is the Colorant application, and includes more than 1,300 fast printing products in small quantities and at fixed prices.
Regarding the importance of these training workshops, Director of the Family Empowerment Department Fatima Al Nuaimi, said that the Ministry is keen to offer these training workshops throughout the year.
She said that this is to achieve its vision towards directing the efforts of institutions concerned with women and families economically towards self-reliance, and developing and implementing projects to support and develop owners of productive projects (Al Watan) through training and providing support services and areas for marketing their products.
The Ministry of Social Development and Family confirms its continuous keenness to support owners of productive projects “Al Watan”, especially in the field of social development, which is one of the pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030, as the Ministry seeks to achieve self-sufficiency and provide a permanent marketing platform for owners of productive projects to ensure the continuation of a decent life for its people.
