Home Grown’s projects participate in the Liwan Al-Khair Event
The Ministry of Social Development and Family, represented by the Family Empowerment Department, in cooperation with Msheireb Studios, participated in the Liwan Al-Khair event, through the participation of Home Grown’s owners with the aim of marketing their products.
Six productive entrepreneurs participated in this event with various products, including jewelry, clothing, coffee, ceramics, and publications, which were admired by visitors.
Mrs. Maryam Al-Badr, owner of the Vibes-Prints project, said that the project is specialized in prints, and aims to use printing of various types in an innovative way, and to come up with contemporary and renewed ideas that include distributions, clothes, bags, clothes, placemats, cards, cups, and other products.
Ceramic maker Ms. Halima Al-Shamali stated, “My project combines traditional crafts with a modern spirit of innovation, as it gives the local community the opportunity to explore the aesthetics of pottery making through a variety of workshops and events. This cultural interaction enhances appreciation for artistic heritage and deepens social connection in society.”
In this regard, Mrs. Fatima Al Nuaimi, Director of the Family Empowerment Department at the Ministry, said that the Ministry’s pays more interest and care for Home Grown’s owners, and it is keen to develop the skills and capabilities of the owners by involving them in training workshops and awareness lectures, providing auxiliary services and enhancing their efficiency. It also gives them the opportunity to promote their products by involving them in marketing outlets organized by the Ministry in cooperation with the other authorities in the country.
The Ministry of Social Development and Family confirms its continued keenness to support Home Grown’s projects, especially in the field of social development, which is one of the pillars of Qatar Vision 2030.
It also markets their projects in strategic locations, festivals, events, and exhibitions held by the state, and contributes to developing the exhibitors’ commercial skills in a professional manner in several locations under a marketing platform bearing the slogan (Home-Grown) and creating a diverse environment that seeks to meet the needs of all members of society, as well as implementing projects to support and develop the owners.
It is worth noting that the Home Grown products are very popular today among various segments of society, especially since they are of high quality and meet consumer requirements at affordable prices.
