«Development» and «Environment» launch the Turbah market for farmers tomorrow
The Ministry of Social Development and the Family and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change are organizing the “Soil Market” event in Qatar Foundation’s Ceremonial Square, tomorrow, Friday, at 7:30 pm. On the occasion of Family Day in Qatar, which falls on April 15 of each year. On the other hand, the Ministry of Social Development and the Family will organize an awareness lecture entitled “One Million Steps Closer” presented by Dr. Ayoub Al-Ayoub, expert in human and administrative development, tomorrow, Friday, from 10-10:30 pm, at the Al-Turba Market for Farmers in the Celebrations Square at Qatar Foundation, as part of the activities Family Day in Qatar. The Ministry of Development had launched a campaign through its electronic platform, as part of Family Day activities in Qatar, to raise awareness of the need for family cohesion, through the hashtags #Qatar_strong_its_family_cohesion and #Million_Steps_closer, which included lectures and an invitation to practice walking during the month of Ramadan, stressing that it strengthens the immune system and increases the ability to resist diseases, explaining Walking with family members is even more powerful because it enhances feelings of intimacy and joy. The ministry said in a tweet posted on its official Twitter account that the family is the nucleus of society, and one of the factors that stabilize societies is the health of its members. It also organized an awareness evening entitled “Know the level of your family participation” by Prof. Dr. Hammoud Al-Qashaan, through the zoom application. On the sidelines of the Let's Walk campaign, the Ministry presented an awareness video to answer the question: How can we achieve a balance between work and family activities in Ramadan? It included advice in which she emphasized that the quality of time parents spend with their children is more important than the number of hours.
