Her Excellency Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Qatar's Minister of Social Development and Family, recently attended the 23rd meeting of GCC Housing Ministers in Kuwait on Thursday, May 22, 2025.

Running concurrently was the Second Gulf Housing Week, themed "Sustainable Real Estate Development." This event provided a crucial forum for fostering collaboration and sharing best practices in housing and urban sustainability across the GCC states.

Discussions among the housing ministers focused on strategic approaches to develop regional housing policies, enhance Gulf cooperation in this critical sector, and exchange valuable experiences among member nations.

On the sidelines, Her Excellency held a bilateral meeting with His Excellency Dr. Khalfan bin Said Al Shuaili, Oman's Minister of Housing and Urban Planning. Their conversation explored avenues for bilateral cooperation in housing, underscoring the importance of ongoing GCC coordination and integration in this field. She also met with Kuwait's Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, where they discussed strengthening joint initiatives and reviewing leading practices.

These meetings are part of a broader effort by GCC nations to align housing visions and policies, aiming to meet the aspirations of Gulf citizens and improve urban living standards and sustainability throughout the region.
